Measure the length of the space where the wire baskets is needed. If the shelf is intended to touch the wall at any end, subtract 3/4 inches from the measurement. Duplicate that if it will touch both ends. Determine the number of wall clips needed to hold the rear end of the shelf in the wall. A good rule is a clip for every 12 inches of shelf, evenly distributed. Mark the 1 inch clip from the edge if not near sidewalls. Use a water pass to make sure all holes are positioned in a straight line.
When assembling the clip into rivets, simply drill, and fasten with screws. If secured in plaster, point the wall anchor the cliff in the steering holes, and screw them into the wall. Attach the wire baskets to the wall clip, one by one by gently pushing back the shelf into the clip until they snap into place. It will now hang there against the wall, and you can place the plastic caps over all open ends if needed. Load the front of the shelf inside the bracket and check that level, mark the place with a pen and drill yourself the holes. Attach the hook with a screw, and slide the shelf in place.
